OREA Hotels & Resorts

We replaced an inadequate box solution for the largest network of hotels and resorts in the Czech Republic with a custom-built product.

OREA Hotels is a Czech hotel chain that operates dozens of hotels throughout the Czech Republic. It is built on quality services, modern design, and a personal approach to guests. In recent years, it has undergone dynamic development and significantly strengthened its digital channels.

Guests today expect a fast, intuitive, and clear booking process that is comparable to experiences from international platforms. OREA is therefore looking for ways to improve user experience, increase conversions, and at the same time have full control over pricing, occupancy, and availability management across the entire hotel chain.

Challenge

A modern hotel chain needs to solve some sales challenges in a completely custom way, which standard box solutions cannot handle.

Our common goal is to create a solution that:

  • unifies the booking process and makes it as user-friendly as possible,
  • enables centralized price and availability management while respecting the individual needs of each hotel,
  • increases conversion rates and strengthens the role of direct online sales.

Solution

Together with OREA Hotels & Resorts, we are building a new reservation process that brings guests a simple, fast and trustworthy path to booking their stay. The entire process is designed so that guests always know exactly what options they have and how much their stay will cost.

At the same time, we are developing a reservation management system that gives OREA Hotels full control over availability and occupancy. This system enables:

Our work is based on continuous A/B testing and optimization, where we fine-tune the details of the reservation journey – forms, calls to action, step order. Every change is backed by data and brings measurable impact.

User testing is also part of the process, where we validate hypotheses and test prototypes. This iterative approach helps us continuously improve the user experience and ensure it is as user-friendly as possible.

We are not just a technology supplier, but a strategic partner for the digital development of OREA Hotels.

Process

Based on the client's requirements, we analyzed the current situation and proposed steps to improve everything even further. Together we defined key steps to simplify the reservation process, increase conversions and create a robust background for hotel administration that enables efficient management and flexible control for both individual hotels and the entire chain.

Analysis and research

Together we map the original reservation journey, identify weak points and look for new opportunities. We create customer journey maps and reservation scenarios.

UX/UI Design

We prepare prototypes of the reservation process, which we continuously test with guests. We focus on simplicity, speed and trust.

Booking engine development

We develop our own system for reservation and occupancy management. We connect the engine to other internal tools and thus enable efficient management of the entire chain as well as individual hotels.

Testing and optimization

We validate every step through user testing and A/B experiments in real operation. We measure results and reflect them back into development.

Iteration and development

The collaboration runs long-term – we continuously develop the project, expand it with new features and together look for other ways to strengthen OREA Hotels' digital channel.

Result

Guests today book stays at OREA Hotels quickly and without complications. The reservation process is clear and optimized for higher conversion.

Management gains a centralized system that enables efficient revenue management, occupancy and availability control. Thanks to a data-driven approach, we manage to gradually increase performance and strengthen the role of the online channel in the long term.

OREA Hotels is thus developing a modern digital environment that is ready for further growth and new guest expectations.
