Project
Energetic Expedition

Centropol Energy and the Energie Pomáhá foundation approached us with a unique challenge – to create a tool that contributes to energy education in schools during their project days in a fun and interactive way.
The Energetic Expedition is a game designed for pupils in grades 7 to 9, who follow an interactive map full of challenges, competitions and creative tasks. Each task is designed to bring pupils closer to the issue of energy consumption and inspire them to take a variety of energy-saving measures in real life.
For us, the main challenge in the development of the project was the assignment of the tasks, the graphic design, but also the timing of the different parts of the game, which we successfully managed. Thus, the first classes successfully reached their destination after a two-month journey in the school year 2023/2024. The reactions have been positive and we therefore look forward to seeing more participants on the expedition this school year.

Challenge
The story of the Energetic Expedition - how an analog idea became a digital hit with the support of the ministry.
It started as a dream of a better future…

Problem identification
Jiří Matoušek from Centropol approached us with the question: „How to make a project digital and fun for children?“ Our answer was simple: „We have to start from the beginning.“ We took the original design, disassembled it into its components and searched for answers.

Solution
Children today live digitally – and our new design had to adapt to that. We decided to completely transform the project into an interactive and fun form.
Energetic Expedition 2.0 was built on three pillars:

Digitalization
Small steps to big change
Our journey was not easy. We started from the basics and went step by step:
