Thousands of payments take place at the university – for dormitories, the canteen, courses, student cards, printing, and books. However, each department handles it differently: some use software, others Excel, and you can even find pen and paper. Accountants then print out reports, sign them by hand, and carry them through the mailroom.
Although bank statements are downloaded automatically, a significant limitation of the current solution is technical availability – statements sometimes cannot be obtained on time due to outages of the downloading application.
Manual work, fragmented records, and technical limitations burden not only the accounting department but also the daily operations of the university. To make everything work efficiently, the entire process needed to be significantly simplified and digitized.
